Cowen Railroad Festival
Last weekend in July
The Cowen Railroad Festival celebrates the benefits the railroad has brought to West Virginia with activities for all ages.
For the kids there is a beauty pageant, various contests, talent show, pony rides and a teen dance.
For the adults there are bow-shooting and fishing contests, softball and basketball contests, truck show, parade, dance contest, arts and crafts show, Hall of Fame dinner, and good music.
